28ss

I went to Michigan & bought the boat a couple of years ago. Last year, I sold it to a guy in Towson, Maryland. I loved the boat. The guy I bought it from did a first class job updating the boat. The dash was absolutely amazing. Beautiful engines, reliable and well put together. The TRS's looked like new. The original gelcoat, looked new. I think it was one of the best looking SS's I have ever seen. I was very fortunate to have had her for a while. I renamed it to TOM KAT. After me and my wife. Tommy...Kathy. I belive it is nameless at the moment. I still miss it. I moved up to a Cafe Racer due to a bad back. I needed a smoother ride. The Chesapeake Bay can get a little rough sometimes. I sold the boat the day after I took delivery of the Cafe. BTW, the boat was named Iron Head. Below are some pics from when I bought the SS. It was my first Cig, now I'm hooked.

Thanks Tommy, I always liked that 28. Is it still as nice as it was? If I remember correctly it had a pair of 400 hp small blocks. How fast was it? I thought a pair of Konrad's would be very nice. I did'nt really get the name so it didn't stick with me, but I knew it was some ferris metal. Thanks, Doug

Looks just as nice. Has a pair of 350's pushing 400 horses.
The trs's were like brand new. Supposedly were new & tucked away on a shelf for years. Would run around 70-75 at full throttle.
