It's very nice. Needs nothing, runs awesome.

Funny thing is he was close to doing a deal with Phil for Lost Cowboy. Didn't work out though.

How does the Playboy ride compared to a 38 T/S?

Sam69 07-18-2008 10:17 AM

I have a 35 twin step- rides like a dream. Same boat as a Top Gun only 2 1/2 feet shorter-
like I told my first girl friend "It's not the size of the boat - it's the motion of the ocean":cool-smiley-027:

ride is awsome but it is no top gun... length and weight make a big difference

but the 35 is faster and accelarates better plus it turns very well for a t/s since it has no notch and there is a bit more boat and drive in the water

not same as a gun only shorter...

different hull completely... less freeboard and cockpit room, smaller fairing area... diff CG...no notch hull diff x demention.... runs bettter with the props spinning in

What?

I have been tied up to kevin's 02 T/S Top Gun and there is zero difference in the cockpit and freeboard, Fairing.
There is a freeboard difference between it and a non stepped gun.
and the hulls are different , no notch

Sam69 07-18-2008 02:55 PM

Any know what these 35 twin steps weigh??? Book says a playboy is 9400lbs and the web said 8800lbs...

Dreamer?

there is a difference....

look at ur exhaust and how the tailpipes are close tolerance to the transom where the hatch hinges are... then look at a gun...3 inch difference

dreamer 07-18-2008 06:11 PM

not sure why or what the difference is but there is... been tryin to figure it out..
