Twinsteptiger,
Don't take it personal. Jupiter is just giving a little payback and is probably suffering from a bad case of Cigarette-envy .

That's pretty ballsy!!

Phil is a god in the boating world and I would never claim to be as good or better at running a boat. That said, I do have 5 years of off-shore racing experience myself and those that know me can attest that I will run anyone for fun and be the first one to buy them a round of drinks if they beat me. I love to run and KNOW I am not the fastest out there and give kudos to anyone who beats me.

So in short, yes I would run Phil any day of the week and not mind if I got my azz handed to me. It would be fun to just to run and I think it would be very close!

Also, Phil is second to none when it comes to the quality boats that comes out of his shop. That is something Donzi can't touch!

Well if you could interpret big words, then you might realize it was a joke.......

As far as owning "the Legend" I haven't bought one yet but the way the prices are falling me, Dreamer and Customryder will all have new boats by the end of the year.

You are too wholesale-oriented to own a nice Cig, Phil is still waiting for Dreamers check and Customryder went the whole summer without a boat. Something just isn't right.

As the controversy rages on reference "fire sales"......I'm sure "low ball" offers wont be accepted but "reasonable" offers will. Just like most of the rest of the used boating market in my opinion.

jupiter sunsation makes friends everywhere he goes... :evilb:

can i tell you guys a story....

i was about 10, forth garde id say.. i was in my buddies checkmate about to go water skiing in the bay.. we needed to fuel up for the day so we pulled in for some fuel, well you heard it from a mile away. never heard anything like this before, then i saw it.... it was a 35 falt deck, everyone and i mean everyone stopped what they were doing at watched him fuel up.. it still sticks out in my mind, and what gave me the passion for boats that i have to this day...

now let me ask you, if that was a fountain how bad would this story suck, and how gay would i be today?????:evilb::evilb:

From your excellent spelling now we can all see what grade you did not pass............

You don't like sit down boats for two reasons: 1. Your azz is always too sore from "other" activities to be able to sit down
2. When seated you can't see out over the deck, you have to sit on your knees to see over the deck.

and finally..........Fountain or no Fountain we are all pretty convinced you are gay!

I have a very similar story, we were out water skiing and a 38 flat deck went flying by. You could hear and barely see it and the all of a sudden it cut through a couple wakes @ probably 60+ plus mph and everyone was just stopped and watched until it was out of sight that is when I knew I would need one! But in all fairness there was this time when I 8 and my parents took me to Sea World and we saw the porpise and dolphin show and it made me think of Fountain boats, but that a story for another day.

Whats the original ZRC weight? The current 2009 model shows to be a hefty 8700 lbs where as the Gladiator is a svelte 7800 lbs.

Don't forget to add 2 feet (roughly) for a swim platform, if it has one.

Inside of a 40' container is 7' 8". Not too many offshore boats will fit into one. What you need to use is a flat rack container. They use these to ship vehicles and equipment that won't fit into a normal container. These are usually top loaded on the container ships.
