Oh well.
Every man has his "Dreamboat"...

Sometimes, at night, I look at a centerfold picture of that boat and...
er, I mean,
did I say that outloud?

Yes, Enrique bought in new from Lip Ship. Phil sold it to a buddy of mine in NH, and shortly after it came to Maine.

The TV show VH1 used to have a show called "Hot in Miami" there was footage of Enrique & Anna in the Mystique running in Biscayne Bay.

Any other pics floating around with Anna in the boat? :drink:

ther r none... cause there r only 3 t/s... the canada boat the 575 boat and a american flag boat.....

wouldnt touch a straight bottom unless it was priced way less

Straight bottoms are sweet. There was a dude here in Conroe that had one and he loved it. That thing would rip it up!

dreamer 12-05-2008 09:11 AM

porpoise... notches that didnt work were filled in x dim played with... they r all different...

Boomer35 12-05-2008 08:44 PM

the one from conroe is the one i bought, its got th notch and it runs like a scolded dog, there was never a porpose other than 2500 or less rpm's with tabs all the way up. I put a set of hydro P5x's on it which woke it right up with th 500EFI rebuilds to 540's, and now it doenst matter where the tabs are at with any RPM

the mystiqus with problems just needed a little attention, they are an awesome hull when set up properly,

even without the props and minor tweaking the porpoise was NO WHERE near as bad as the people who have never been on one say it is

no offense to anyone who has been on one and shares there opinion, but I read far too much on here before i bought mine that just wasnt true from too many opinions formed from nothing

WMF 12-06-2008 09:42 PM

I really like the twin step model, but if I could get a deal on a strait bottom Mystique I would take it!!

bmanafort 12-06-2008 11:53 PM

I agree with boomer on this one. You would think us mystique owners would need a seatbelt the way dreamer talks about them. They are great boats, with or without the steps.

Boomer35 12-07-2008 12:00 AM

the thing that burns me is I almost didnt buy a mystique based on the info i read on OSO, little did i know 9 of the 10 post were from guys who have never been on one.... for me im just glad i didnt listen..... i could have been into a same year top gun for the same money or a little more but i wanted a 30'..... best move i ever made, and if it didnt cost Cig as much to make a 30' as it
did a 38' i garauntee they would still be making the 30'

Dreamer, ive asked this a couple times before, have you ever been on a straight hull Mystique? if so which one? you seem to know alot about them

dreamer 12-07-2008 12:20 AM

at the time i was shopping i tested and shopped alot.... started to focus on the mystiques cause of price... so yes i have and got an ecucation about them and shopped aleast half of em... only 12 built

the stepped ones r better....

that being said they r good... just not as goos as the stepped ones

also not all straights r the same some r better than others

in the end i got a 35 t/s because i realised that asking price and real $$$$ r too different things.... i payed 30k more for the 35 t/s while it was listed at 100k more

Ptufaro 12-09-2008 06:18 PM

Mine had a bit of a porpose but only in flat water at low speed. That boat ran great I wish I had more time in it.
