Default Cabin door motor mechanism

Does anybody know what mechanism Cigarette uses to motorize their cabin doors? I was thinking about doing an upgrade project to motorize my Bullet door. Any suggestions?

It's a worm gear and has several coutom brackets. I had to change all the screws to thru bolts and add a bracket to mine because it was always coming loose and falling off

The new ones are hydraulic with pressure supplied by a mercury trim pump mounted underneath the helm.

That would be a cool upgrade. Keep us posted on the progress. Take pictures when you do it. You might start a trend.

Does anybody have any pictures of how it is rigged or what the mechanism looks like behind the passenger's console? That would be extremely helpful.

Is there a simple fix to a terribly constipated cabin door to speed it up and smooth out its operation?

That's a lot of help. If we dumped all the crap that can shake loose and break we would be left with an oar.
