Another nice Bullet for under $50K. It makes me cry! :(

Hollowpoint 09-26-2008 05:26 PM

Isn't that Dustin's (Carter38)'s?

I guess he doesn't need 2 Cigs. It looks sweet with a good price and should sell relatively fast.

Good luck on the sale.

i still cant believe what bullets where selling for a few yrs ago, and even some asking prices now, i would think if its a cent over 50k it better have something really special about it

Hollowpoint 09-26-2008 08:11 PM

Boomer, it's got the seat!

And one of the best interiors of all time!

Boomer35 09-26-2008 08:13 PM

i only say that because you can get a 30' mystique with 500 efi's for around 100k, 10-14 years newer than a bullet, with far different power

Hollowpoint 09-27-2008 09:14 AM

Of course, I knew what you meant. :)

You're right, if you've got the money to buy something, now is a great time.

Everyone has preferences, and Cig interiors have suffered for the sake of speed in my opinion, but I would rather have a Cig with a full interior with a galley and a head than one with some jump seats and a playpen. So I guess I'll have to stick with an old, straight bottom.

BJ seat only the bullet has the one that makes you feel like a king.:drink:

Hollowpoint 09-27-2008 10:36 AM

Oops. I forgot that your Cigs add up to 3!

Yes, the BJ seat is the one that faces aft, fit for a King!

The whole cabin is a nice layout. I've had 7-8 people in there all having a good time........well, maybe not as good as Clay.

Damn, I miss Clay's posts in the uncensored section :(

petwussy 09-27-2008 11:07 AM

Have to See in Person!!!

I know this boat and it is truly the nicest bullet ive seen! If I didn't have two boats right now it would be on my lift! You have to see all the detail of this cig...amazing!

The 1988 Brochure I have lists weight as "Approx 8000lbs".

I'm guessing real weight is between 8500-9000lbs, a heavy beast. And a friend once told me that a boat is like your old lady, she doesn't get any lighter with age :)

The TRS drive option depended on which engines were in the boat. My brochure says that if you got the Merc 420's or Hawk engines, it came with TRS drives.

If anyone is looking for a great riding, wave crushing 30' range boat, the Bullet would be at the very top of my list.

I think anything over the 420's came with trs. Both of my bullets are bravos one with 500hp and the other at 600+hp both very nice and always garage kept.

drpete3 09-29-2008 01:52 PM

WELL.....Nobody told me it was the BJ seat. I am buying one!

add a mirror to the inside of the cabin door and you will REALLY feel like a king :evilb:

Hollowpoint 09-29-2008 02:38 PM

I guess I can add some bling to the inside of the cabin door this winter.

Beautiful Bullet going for a good price. They are great boats in rough water. I've seen a several of them at the Ozarks. Someone will be gettin' a nice ride!

Keytime 06-09-2009 05:45 PM

Who bought this Bullet, Carter? Are you down to one now?
