I'm in....

After some creative trading, I wound up with Sam69's '01 Playboy T/S.

I took delivery just in time for the Labor Day weekend festivities. She's awesome.

Both Tricky and Sam69 did an excellent job taking good care of her. For an '01, she's in excellent condition.

Would anyone out there with a similar rig be willing to send me a copy of the owners manual for the boat (if there is such a thing)? I would be willing to pay copying expense.

I've got some general questions such as: I take it that is a fresh water washdown on the port side in the cockpit (???) does it require a special spigot? I think the owner's manual would help a bunch.

Thanks.

Thanks.

I was really in the market for a Mystique but couldn't afford the $1,000,000 price tag.

Von Bongo 09-29-2008 09:29 AM

Very nice..congrats on the new boat.

skmulligan 09-29-2008 09:33 AM

Thanks for all the kind words.

Hopefully I can do half as good at keeping her up as the two previous owners.

Remember I'm new to the Cigarette club, so I'll probably have a lot of silly questions.

Stormrider,

Couldn't resist a ride on your coat tails....

Seriously, the 35 was bigger than I originally wanted but nobody with a Mystique wanted a 340 Sundancer.

I'm definitely not disappointed with the trade.

It all worked out for the best.

Hollowpoint 09-29-2008 01:35 PM

You will absolutly love it!

In my limited experience, Cig owners seem to all be great people and always willing to help out.

Congrats on the purchase!

Stormrider 09-30-2008 08:54 AM

Ahhhh... very nice...
i was on the boat when Tricky owned it... from NY right?

skmulligan 09-30-2008 09:09 AM

From what I've heard, that's correct.

Apparently Tricky had her repainted and then sold her to Sam69.

Since I don't have a $175k boat, would you consider a trade with just two of the "Claygirls?"
