Pics of the interior before & after i stripped it almost clean. Plan on using leather vinyl stuff on all the cushions & then that & suede on the trim pieces.

couple questions-

1. should i go ahead & replace the foam pieces along the hull or will those not make much a difference?

2. ideas where i can get some directional led lights similiar to what was originally used.

Pump question. Not sure on cafe, but on a Bullet, the Stbd side has the waste water pump/macerator. Port side under my locker is the fresh water pump.

Nice project - I really want to redo mine this winter - we will see if the $$ magically appears.

Trailer working out fine?

yeah im gonna try & talk the wife into doing both interior & new stereo system at once while its all stripped.

trailer is holding up. put a new jack stand on, got the rear axle fixed & put new tires on. Next spring i will probably start looking for a newer one w/ elect over hydraulic for when we tow to diff lakes.

Here is the trick. tell the wife about one of the 2 projects. Such as getting new vinyl and I bet she will barely notice a new stereo. Worked for me.:drink:

FYI I see that trailer selling for at least $700 on craigslist. That may esase the pain a bit.

Holy Smokes 10-09-2008 11:39 AM

That looks like a Manning trailer. They're built solid. Make sure it's not rusting from the inside. Then if OK, media blast & paint clean the wheels then replace the accessories. You'll be good to go.

Agree with Holy Smokes. That was one nice trailer in it's day. It may still be structurally sound, and therefore be a whole lot less to refresh it vs. buy new.
