1991 Top Gun
 

I bought the 1991 Top Gun from upstate New York. It was listed on E-bay last month three times. Does any one have any history on it, good or bad? It has a Ohio title. It was a repo at a bank in Ohio. Someone bought it and installed mpi 502's. Any history on them? Any help would be appreciated. I will be installing the 502's into my Mistress and selling it, or some one make me a deal on the boat & trailer and install the engines yourself. I will be installing my 555 cuin tall decks in the Top Gun. Thanks for any info.

Did you speak with the marina guy who was helping sell it? I spoke with him for a while and he gave me a fairly thorough history...I think the 502's were redone and installed with around 50 hours and he had the total number on te computer...he also had the history of a partnership gone bad and they just wanted to blow the thing out.

I would be curious to know what the final sale price was if you wanted to pm it to me...

There was a thread on here about that boat when it was painted from a couple years ago, if i remember correctly that may have some history to it.

Great lookin boat! My cousin just picked up a 93 a few weeks ago, we spent the last month working the bugs out and finally had a turn-key run with it on Sunday and ran it about 150 miles. There is nothing like the 38 Top Gun!

That may have been Skramer, that was a 35 cafe, different boat.

The Mistress has all kinds of updates, paint, instrument panel, new transom, still has the old red interior, but in good shape, very clean solid boat, aluminum trailer 15,000 lbs. Will consider any good offer. Cheaper if you want to install the engines. CAN'T LOAD PICTURES, FILES TO BIG. Will send pictures on request, will try to up load again.

I would love to see more pics of your new 38. Interior, motors, ect. I am looking at picking up an early gun and will want to update it.
