I like a lot of Phil's stuff but you hit the nail on the head on this one. I have seen a few different takes on the single stripe from thin to wide on the sides and I have always liked that design.

With all the ghosting, pearls and mettalic, I bet you would love it in person.

The 50' is FLAT Silver. Looks like machined metal to some, to me it looks like they put in on with a snow shovel.

The interior rocks tho...

That color/paint scheme and design was the original buyers vision. He did a 20 to match. "Custom" is the key word here. Cigarette and Lip-Ship build what the customer requested in this case.

Nice update on the miami vice theme scarabs..I like both except the orange gauges.

The 49 Express boat was brown with dark brown stripe and a dark tan interior. They are just missing the mark with that line of boats.

How many 49' Grand Sport Cigs are built? Heard there is a new diesel one out..

When I first saw it, I seriously thought Phil had built it for Mr. Margaritaville himself! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice. It's one of the nicest I've seen him do, paint-wise, in a long time.

I'm with you ck54, cigs these days aren't as pretty as they used to be. They looked better to me in the late 90/s and early 2000's

Did they sell any at the show ?
