Props for a T/S 38

It is a 02 with Stellings, and 1.36? to 1 ( I think) Not 1.5 I know that. 575sc and looking for some prop suggestions. Looking more for mid range cruise than top end speed. So what have others tried and what were the end results.
Thanks Quinlan

Check with James, if you can........lol :drink:

He had the exact same setup as yours and ran 5 blade Herings. I can't remember the pitch. I ran a set of 30 4 blade Merc's on mine when I had standard length XR's. I switched to 28's when I put the XR Shorties on.

call throttle up, they i have tested some of there stuff on mine, they will know what you need

ManBayBoatClub 12-19-2008 09:25 PM

Go look at herring props. just my suggestion.

Joe 12-19-2008 09:41 PM

careful with the herrings.... they only look "new" for a very short period of time. call some folks that have them ---- IMO, too thin and therefore will nick-up VERY easily.

I agree with Wild ----- and have run Throttle-up's on my last three boats.... they are all faster, pull harder and have never nicked any of them (except when I hit them on the trailer drive guard! Oopse! :grinser010:
