From what I've seen. Straight bottom guns are bravo eaters with anything over the 500+ mark a side. Heavy boat / weak drive...Not a good combo.

haha i know i already told him..........what bravo style drives can handle the most power????? IMCO??????

theres at guy down here at loto (dennis) with a straight bottom lipship with bravos and 800hp i think and he is easy on the boat so the drives hold, dont know the speed

Boat ran in the mid 90's a few years ago at the shootout.

The secrete to big motors on bravos in a 38 TG is knowing how to throttle. Drive knowing that the bravos are your weak link.

Are Cafe's with Bravo's easier on the drives becasue of the X dimension. Haven't heard of many problems even though they are similar in length.

Couldn't agree more..... While mine are getting old and tired, I still have 525sc's and bravos... I ease into the throttle EVERY time.... I love these guys that idle to the opening of the cove... then mash the throttles forward.
