The thread title was asking about step boats so I assumed you were too. No offence...
LOL no offense taken my friend ,.........just trying to understand where you where taking it. Sorry appears to be my bad. :drink: Jon |
I know one that has #3's and it is twice the boat that a bravo boat is. Rides and handles like it is on rails. I think it is the extended drive lenght. Boat could probably be faster witha shorter drive, but as far as stability, way more stable that a bravo boat.
I think a #6 boat would be the king of the lake. :ernaehrung004: |

I believe this is the one you are talking about out of California.
Woman owned and if memory serve's me she bought it with the number 6's on it and the EXTENSION BOXES. EXTENSION BOXES being the down side as it changes the balance point with putting the weight of the drives that much furthur behind the boat. It cause the boat to porpose,.........not sure if that was only in cruise speed or all the time. I do remember she didn't want to change the set-up cause she liked the BAD A** look of the Drive's what out there on Boxes. Jon Wonder what ever happened to that boat? |
The previous post is what happens when I hit reply before reading the whole thread! jmeng beat me to it :)

Jon I miss the old days, BCC, River Girl, Jeffrey...This place was a lot of fun and very informative. The running joke was new members had to pay $1 to the existing members and post a picture of their girlfriend/wife. :( |

I do believe that is the (in)famous "Ruckus" - what a blast from the past! Not too many still around here from the early OSO days ;)
Wonder what ever happened to that boat? |
