Cigarette Sound Systems: pics of really trick installs?
Anyone have pictures of trick sound systems on a Cigarette??
Looking for ideas on installing a beefed up stereo in the cockpit of the Bullet. Putting 2 10"s where the 6s are under the driver and passenger bolsters, and want to add 6 or 8 6 1/2s in the gunwales, but dont know wheres the best place for the amps. going to put a second head unit for the cabin, with seperate speakers there [no amps on that system]. If anyone has pictures of their installs, for ideas. |
Thought you were selling?

On my Cafe', I ended up with 2-12" subs in the sides under the bolsters. I used Infinity because the boxes needed less airspace than the comparable JL w3's.
http://www.performanceboats.com/html.../DSCN07141.jpg I used 6-6 1/2's in the gunwales. IMHO, you don't need anymore, unless you underpower them- it is friggen LOUD. http://www.performanceboats.com/html...0/CIMG7058.JPG http://www.performanceboats.com/html...eeebsitpic.jpg I used a 500 watt amp for the subs, and a 1,200 watt amp for the components. I don't have any pics, but they are mounted under the back bench (against the bilge divider), and covered by a panel and cooling fans. |
That chit is SWEET!!!

I was, but the Cigarette was the only thing i got in the divorce, even had to sell the truck to pull it! But came across two partners who want to use it, and basically zero-based the boat except for gas and a third of maintenance, so just got lucky.

Man, I wish you luck in a boat partnership. A friend of mine went through it and it was a biotch to say the least. If you're driving the boat and a water pump goes out, split it three ways and it isn't bad. Your buddy is using the boat one weekend and a drive goes south, it will test your friendship. You running that thing this weekend? Prolly be at the condo solo all weekend. Wifey has to work!:party-smiley-004:
