Bullet Props

What kind of props are you guys running on your bullets??
Have any of you tried Clever props on a bravo set up??

I've never had the time and money to try different prop setups but I run 27P Mirage 3 blades at around 5100. Low to mid 70's.

I am running Mirage Plus 25P turning out. 5000rpm @70mph

Mirage Plus 29 3blades 3/4 tanks of fuel 86 at 5000 hoping to hit 90 with light fuel Running a pair of 575s with xr drives, the 3 blades give great bow lift, alot of people use 4 blades to help get on plane quicker.

Thank you guys hollow point what kind of power are you running ???
Barefoot are your drives 1.5?? we have very simmilar power i have a set of 565's with 1.5 gears and bravo 1 22 pitch props at 75 mph the bow falls and i loose speed. are the mirrage plus props carrying the bow high above 75??

BAREFOOTING 05-29-2009 09:47 AM

Drives are 1.50, lots of bow lift,4 blades would make getting on plane better, what rpms are you turning with the 22s?

brklink 05-29-2009 10:07 AM

About6100 looking for 5600 rpm

BAREFOOTING 05-29-2009 12:12 PM

I would try a set 29 3 blade, or 28 4 blades, get a base line and go from there. Those props should bring your rps down to what your looking for.Its all trial and error. P.S.Does your hull have a keel pad? or straight bottom?

brklink 05-29-2009 01:11 PM

Thanks for your help it's a straight bottom
