Need Some info From you Cig owners
just wondering if I can get some honest opinions on a something I am thinking about I own a 1999 Powerplay 33 sportdeck twin 502 mpi's was thinking about moving up to more power around 650hp or a 38 top gun t/s maybe like 2002 or 03 with twin 650 or so any opinions would be helpful more so if you've owned both boats I never rode in a Cig but always loved them awsome boats I've been told the ride in a T/S would not be as good as my powerplay Also wonder if I would gain that much room in the cockpit

I have never ridden in a Powerplay but what I have read on them has mostly been positive. To that point the notion that a ride in a Cig TG T/S wouldn't not be as good has to be the most laughable thing I have ever heard. It is no coincidence that some of the people on this site and other sites with the biggest pocket books almost invariably end up in Top Gun's.

Find a board member in your area and fill his tank up for a ride one afternoon - 10 to 1 says your next boat will have a "1" on the side..... |

Cockpit room in Cigs is good for about 5 or 6 people. 4 is optimal if you are running. Like Seaford said, I dont know who told you about your Powerplay riding better than a T/S gun but that is pretty much BS. I know the PP's have a great ride for a 33ft boat, but they cannot run with a T/S Gun! Wizard of OZ on the board has owned both so maybe give him a shout.

Go for a ride and see for yourself. |
I've ridden in 33 PP's, a 38 PP, and owned a TS Cig with 625hp a side. The TS Cig is a much softer ride than either PP was, but the PP's were nice boats for sure. The fit & finish on the Gun's are far better for my taste.

Thanks

Look no further. My boat is in like new condition, cosmetically and mechanically. Go look at all the others, then come see mine. My Merc motors have 667 HP, I have had it to 93, but there is still more to be had. I believe she'll hit 95 or so.
My Top Gun is not the cheapest one out there, but I am 100% sure it is the best. NOTHING needs to be done to this boat except fire it up and enjoy it. http://www.seriousoffshore.com/forum...ead.php?t=1488 Read the comments from the people that have seen the boat and also note the responses about how I care for it. |
Well what year how much Pics And I need to make a deal where I trade mine or find someone to buy it Thanks Mark
