Seized Prop....?

How would one go about removing a 4 blade cleaver form a ssm 3A prop shaft??....just bought a 99 top gun cig and i dont think the previous owner greased the prop shafts because both props were seized on. The one came off fairly easy but i cant seem to get this second one off....Any special tricks or tips???...sprayed it with wd40 and let sit for a few days....nothing.....

Try some Liquid Wrench & industrial strength rust remover, that you can buy at any hardware store. May take a few applications.

PB Blaster. Makes WD40 look like water. I used to use it all the time on the Jeep when working with siezed and rusted bolts and it works great after soaking for a couple of hours.

Worst thing in the world is to leave 3A props on all the time. Unlike other drives the water gets in between the prop and prop shaft and actually sits in there with out draining out. I have a bit of damage to the "teeth" of my prop shafts from the prior owner leaving the props on.

Whatever you do, avoid screwing the prop shaft up! The 3A drives are awesome and withstand a beating but not cheap....The shafts are about 3500 each to replace (plus labor). Might even be worth it to just leave the props where they're at!!

What boat is it by the way? Pics?

I know you are going laugh but try this. Get some boiling hot water(decent amount) and pour it right on the prop and shaft area, this should help the metal expand and hopefully pop off. This is how we get the clutches off the snow mobiles with out wrecking the shafts.
