Running with the Devil

I saw it for sale at Raymonds this weekend.

I also saw it on the lot at Raymonds on the way home to KC this evening. Wonder did the owner trade it in on a new Fountain?

Nevertheless, one of my favorite Cigs at LOTO.

That boat is total badass.

I love that boat as well. I think Powerboat Mag wrote an article about it once upon a time.

For sure one of the sickest 38's around. I would love to hear it in person or better yet take a ride in it!

It sounded just like the Tiger its running next to in the first video...LOUD!!!

We ran the Tiger in the SCOPe poker run in 03 or 04. Driver had it PINNED all the way to Catalina, then Pinned again all the way to Newport Harbor. Running in the high 90's the whole time. I was standing directly behind the helm with those f*ckin'g blower scoops right behind me. I sh!t you not, my left ear rang for two days!

Photo from that day....:drink:

STRAIGHTPRIORITY 06-22-2009 12:06 PM

seems a little steep to me though! love the boat though. doesnt seem like it has been kept as nice as it was by the previous owner. for that money you can get a nice piece!

Ron (the original owner who commissioned the boat) kept it up like it was new, always. James (Safa1) bought it and ran it at Lake Havasu mostly and kept it in great shape too. I don't know the new owner, only know he ran it on LOTO. From the pics it does seem to have lost some of its "luster", but still a sick ride!

Our little tug boat isn't anything compared to these machines, but we love it and it works great for us. Not the fastest out there but it handles well the big water the Pacific Ocean wips up. Merc 525SC's and SSM 3A's. Bought it from Phil who took it in on trade from the original owner who rarely used it.

Powerboat Mag did a few articles on some install stuff on it (the vinyl wrap, the stereo, the swim step, the gauges/throttles/steering wheel upgrades). and like I said, things go well, another little article on some other stuff will be in there soon.

Agreed....Speaking of your old boat, I haven't seen it since the poker run the year Steve drove it. It's been MIA!

Brotha its running. I went to the back side of Santa Cruz two weeks ago (Gull Island). I plan to go to Catalina in July after I get back from Shasta. Shasta is next week. :)

I haven't picked up my flat hatch from Pfaff yet but that will be soon.
