I did e-mail the guy.... here's what he said:
The boat has been sitting on the trailer for 5 years -- it is very much a project. The boat is in a storage facility. The pics I have are attached.
As far as I know, it has never been raced. It was left in the water the last year I used it, and the paint bubbled from the water line to the chine. I did sand this area to be certain that it was paint and not gel coat -- it was only the paint.
The engines are big block chevy's, the drives are Speedmaster III's.
The shrink wrap failed while I was wintering in FL, and water sat in the cabin, resulting in mold and mildew - the fabric and foam will have to be replaced.
He also sent me some add'l pics but I don't think I can post them here since I let my membership lapse. I can e-mail'em to someone to post if there's any interest. mister(dot)noneya(at)gmail(dot)com is my email address.
