Good question. Mine are bad and will be replaced this winter

yuma p was in the cae last night cleaning and getting it ready for the winter so I can start to get all new parts and such.

i bought mine from dollar, they were about $20 or $25 each. LipShip has em to for same price. After one year, they are bad again. :hitfan: one side does not have enough pressure to hold hatch up. thinking bout coming up w/ disconnect method to let the ram out while hatch shut. i was told by keeping the ram compressed for long periods of time (basically as designed) causes them to fail prematurely.

Can some one send me the link. Thanks guys

bdiggity, Can you supply the part number for the rams? Spring Lift SL-4-30's doller or lipship will know exactly what you want. i would go w/ 40's instead of 30's tho. |
thanks, i'll give them a call in the morning

Let me know how you make out. Thanks B for the info

Bdiggity, Thanks for the info.
My biggest concern is finding blade brackets that mount in the hatch channel. (The deck-side brackets were missing when I bought the boat) I called Attwood Marine Products, they couldn't have been more helpful, have everything I need and referred me to the site below to place my order; Gas Spring Brackets http://www.backtoboating.com/Scripts...g-brackets.asp Gas Springs http://www.backtoboating.com/Scripts/allsprings.asp |
Bpp awsome man thanks saves alot of seaching and looking around
