Fill up on trailer???

Ran out of gas on one engine. Filled up on the trailer and could only pump 89 gallons into the "empty" tank. 84 gallons on the other side.

'02 TS. I thought they hold 120 gallons each side. Boat was on level ground so I doubt it had a 30 gallon air pocket??
Anyone else had issues on trailer before? Just never ran it that low before....fortunately I was within sight of the ramp.

Thanks

I think they are 110 each.

They will hold 220 total 110 each tank.

My owners manual says "Fuel Capacity 242 gallons". But even if 110 gal each, 21 gallons shy on an empty tank fill up is still alot....

same thing happened to me on the trailer with my ol.

Could it be that on the trailer it is level and in the water it is nose up? Depending on where the vent tube is located, this could cause the fuel level to block the vent prior to the tanks actually being full. Not sure if that's the case or even possible, but just a thought. I'd see if I could add more gas at the marina as soon as I put it on the water.

My Bullet is about 15 or 20 gallons a side low if I fill it up on the trailer then take it straight to a marina when I dip it.

My formula has the opposite problem. Filled up on the trailer and launched at Coles Point........ran 50+ miles to Solomon's Island and could only squeeze 11 gallons in it (wanted to fill up before running to Baltimore/Red Eyes)
