Agreed, Jay is awesome. Great choice in Choosing Jay to tackle a paint job like this Frank. If I ever paint mine, he is the man. Good call with the aluminum heads Jason. That Cafe now looks like an eighty two mph boat !:drink::drink:

okay the sides and the transom are done, the deck is sanded and ready for primer. Here are some updated pics.

I can't wait to get back on the water. You must be going beserk! What's the deck design?

On the left side it will have Cigarette in script going down the deck and on the driver side it will have 2 of the tribe shards, but mostly just he pearl white effect that is on the sides of the bow.....yeah and I can't wait to get out there!

Been off OSO for a while and sorry to say I missed this project. Awesome to go through the thread from start to finish this morning. The boat looks absolutely fabulous. Love the logo design too. I always like things that are a little different than everyone elses!!

As far as docking and tying up, it's definitely gonna be stressful. Got the first couple gouges in my paint last year at a poker run and thought I was going to have a stroke. Keep good deckhands with you at all times!!!!

Great looking Cafe!!

It's been a while but here are a couple os shots of the deck. There is still a little tape over some of the graphic and no clear until later today but it gives a pretty good Idea. Have to move this thing along it is already 60 degrees out!

Those vents are about the exact same color as mine.....

Why aren't you happy? I figured with all the work you were doing you would have upgraded to the new style vents....??

I just think the purple on there is to much. I cheaped out and absolutely should have gone with the new style. I think I may have them painted to match the paint scheme to give the apperance that they are blended in.

I don't think they are bad but seeing them in person may be different.

Either way that is an awesome Cafe re-do - I just love the colors.
