GPS location in Cafe Racer
 

Where have you guys mounted your GPS units? Has anyboby done a flush mount? I was wondering if I could put a flush mounted unit above the grab handle going into the cabin. Any pics and model numbers would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think I have seen a flush mounted one. You could always flush mount on the dash and move some of the gauges over the cabin entrance to make some room. This is the dash Stecz did on his old Cafe'. A little more planning and there should be plenty of room to flush mount a GPS.

Another thing I have thought about is if you could find one small enough to fit where the trim/tab indicators go and mount it there and move the indicators to top of the dash using the pop up indicators.

Mine sits in the exact same place as the one shown on Stecz's boat....

Stecz's boat looks familiar. Lol. Probably cause I own it now. Yes, that is a good location.

What model is it? Does it fall off in rough water?

There was another cafe w/ one there but i cant find it.

That boat has been for sale since I started shopping in 2006. Price hasn't budged..... I was laughing at it the other day!!

yeah i know. i guess for us owners better to see that price then like $30k.

Hey 41 what about a redesigned gauge cluster with it flush mounted in the center and gauges surrounding?
