Well since I have been on this site for many years and never posted pics I figure I should try to. This is my old bucket that I bought and redid last year. Hopefully you guys will like how my 28 turns out.

Lots of work, looks good! What shape was the rest of the boat?

Get A Respirator!!!! How Many Old Painters Do You Know?

i was wearing one the whole time, :party-smiley-004:my now ex girlfriend made me take it off for the picture. I usually even wear a dust mask just when im sanding anything. But most the old painters i know to do darn grumpy to die of anything, but thanks for your concern:drink:

Whole boat was pretty rough, So far I have rewired the whole dash with the new Livorsi 4 pin connectors, every cable is new. New gaffrig throttles. Gutted the whole cockpit. had two new bolsters made. Rebuilt the motors and new wiring harnesses. Took the old windshield welded it into a faring. Cut out all the old style cleats and placed some nice pop up cleats in their place. Many many more but im probably forgetting.

Now its time to build an old style race hatch!!!!!!

No problem. I used to do a lot of painting and that picture made the hair stand up on the back of my neck.
The boat looks real nice and tastefully done. It will be a piece that you can be proud of.

Looks great and its all your work. I did the same thing with my 30 Velocity.

Very nice. Love the paint. What are you doing for power? I would definately do the race hatches. I did it with mine and it makes working on it a lot easier.

By the way... what year is it. I only know of two others (non race boats) that don't have deck hatches, mine and Thrillseekers

Would I be correct in assuming the trailer in the pics is not the one you are talking about? Those look suspiciously like house trailer axles in pic #7 on this thread...
