What is Cigarette using for X dim on the #6 drives? My 99 TG flat bottom is 7.5" with #3a's im looking to swap them with #5's (5's & 6's have the same vertical height) which would raise it to roughly 1.5" X does this sound right?

If this helps, the nose cones/prop shaft on my No 6's are only 1/4" below the running surface of the hull.....not the notched transom. No problems planing, but 6's trim way in.

Ask RPM man on the board about his No. 5's and planing issues/drive heights.
