Anyone pick up the "Smokin'" cigarette magazine?
 

It could almost be considered a coffee table book. What a beautifuly put together book. Really captures the lifestyle of cigarette. Lots of color pictures with many members boats and pictures. I didn't make it to the miami show but was lucky enough to have someone bring a couple of these back for me. If any of you get a chance you should definately check it out.

Cigarette gives them away at the Miami show.
As far as I know, there are three different ones.

They had a bunch at the show. It is the 3rd installment, and really the best one. The dealers tend to get the left overs. I picked up my copy on Friday. The Miami show was as advertised...."The Meca of Powerboating"

I bet you are...I saw that, great picture. Also noticed that famous pic of Wild and Ktron running together.

I thought it was very cool that they put various owner pics (from previous Cig parties I assume) and older Cigs running shots. The book was so tastefully done. I think it really focused on an appreciation of their customers and history. Very subtle and understated in a way. The book kind've says, "Hey, we're Cigarette, this is what we're about"....No peakocking, no talking sh!t about any other brands, no self proclaimed "we're better than everyone else" type of attitude. Very well done, I'm impressed (not that it matters:drink:).

They have a link on the top of the page to request a brochure. I got a copy of Smokin when I requested a brochure.

They also have a very cool email newsletter that you can sign up for as well. It comes out a couple of times a year.

I requested one too.. We shall see what happens. Nice to see though that they are doing print & website stuff.. There is still something about printed brochures & catalogs for this kind of stuff. Also it is nice to keep with the boat. I like to keep the oem brochures with my boats, cars etc.. Especially when you have something unique.. :) Jamie / Lakeside

I have the first one and keep it in my computer bag. I read it over and over again on the plane. I bet I have read it front to back 20 times....

In my man cave Rob, next to the fridge:drink: I do not think they have a new issue yet? I have both of the old issues they published, the newest one came out last year.

The newest one has the AMG 46 on the cover.

Just got mine today with the AMG boat on the front. Awesome magazine, to bad my mail main is a moron and he broke the spine to put it in my mailbox :angry-smiley-038:

Ok, here's the cover of the newest mag. (AMG 46)

Yesterday a friend dropped off the last media book that was printed and it has the lightening 50 on the cover.

You could imagine my suprise when I saw my boat made it into the pages of that issue!!

And a really nice tribute to Tom Newby. Think that is a really cool thing Skip did. Nothing really about cigarette, just a 2 page memorium for Tom.
