looking to get into a 38' top gun t/s

I'm looking at getting into a 02 to 04 with 525's its drives with sportsman lowers. I'm coming out of an 02 33' powerplay with 496 ho's. (awsome boat just got the bug for something bigger) I was wondering what to expect out the boat speed,handling ect... never been in a cig so any input would be great.
