My '01 35 T/S will run 83 mph (gps) all day long with stock 500's and I don't even know what I'm doing....

I f I had the $, she would be mine. Love that boat. Decided to go with the '90 headache. Maybe someday I can step up and run with the big boys....

The Mini Hawk is doing good i am currently making new upholstery for it. Im aiming to get the boat ready by Memorial day. And of course im keeping out of trouble:drink:

It was pretty fast when it was new. We ran down & back to KW, then around Fort Lauderdale together during the week that followed. He could keep up with my Top Gun right up until the last few mph, and my Gun ran 92-93 consistently. I remember it being loud too. The two black Playboy 35 TS boats that I drove/rode in, and the 35 Mistress that I still drive a couple of times every Summer, all ran/run about 78mph, and all of those had/have 500's. I rode in one other one before the Smoke on the Water run, and he could get his to run right on 80 with 500's.

How many newer Mistress did Cigarette make? I have only seen this one? I would think with Chief going thru the motors it would run around 92-96 on GPS??

Man, I really don't know how many they ended up building. I agree, that if Chief redid the engines, they may have a little extra pop to them. If Chief refreshed them, they will at LEAST have the horsepower that's been advertised. Tommy is such a GREAT engine builder.

My long time friend Jim Lee has what I believe is either a 2003 or 2004 35 Mistress with 500's. I've been fortunate to have been able to use his Mistress quite a bit in the past. It's a very clean, well kept boat, and usually a 78mph boat all of the times I've ran it.

i think 3 maybe 4 i know this one,,, blee friend has a 500 boat and i think there is 1-2 with 525s
