Anyone run nose cones on Bullet w/ Bravos??
 

Has anyone run nose cones with a bravo/bullet? If so, what brand and what was the MPH improvement?

I had a 91 Bullet with old style bravo's. The best speed I ever had was 78.4 GPS. I was told the new owner put on new style (low water) pickup and gained 4 MPH. Hope this helps!

What power / prop did you have in the boat? Hyd or reg steering?

How do you tell the diff between standard adn low water pick up? These are 1990 vintage drives.

The low water pickups on the HP drives will be located on the underside of the nose cone.

The standard pickups are the ones in the sides of the lower unit.
