Tabs & Units Indicator Instrument How To Remove It
 

Hi guys I need to change the cables of the Tabs and Units indicator

who knows how to do it ?

I have to remove all the console or just the compass and the dashboard ?

There are 4 studs about 3 inches long, 1 at each corner. They should have a nut and lockwasher on them, either 3/8 or 7/16 nuts. Once you remove those (maybe go in through the compass hole) it will pull up and out as you twist it toward you. Be very carefull taking the pointers loose from the cables as they have little springs in each barrel and will fly out if you don't hold them.

You only need to remove the actual indicator. The studs are on the back side as Ted said.

Usually you can press the indicator down and rotate holder then remove indicator and spring one at a time

When the'll arrive here in Italy I'll try to change them :coolcowboy:

Easy to change. Have Lip Ship send you the union to connect both cables via. the threaded portion. You can then pull the new cable thru using the old one. Make sire all your thru hulls are sealed well to prevent any leaks.
