Bullet charging system
I am a new Bullet owner. How do I check the onboard charging system for proper function and are there any things to be aware of with the shore power capability. I assume the outlets only work on shore power? Any info on the polarity switch in the cabin? Thanks.

Hugh Mills LOTO Post some pics of your new to you Bullet. I also have an 88 Bullet. When I plug in shore power cable I turn the battery switches to the OFF position. I also turn on the charger which is a 30 amp charger that doesn't have an automatic off when charged sensor. So be careful not to fry your batteries!! The outlets only works when the shore power is connected. Let me know if their is any thing else you need! |

Mine has a Guest 15 AMP, momentary 20 AMP charger. I get a red light at the unit indicating power ready but no indication on the meter that it is sending power. It is wired through the battery panel and not directly to the batteries.
Is a particualr battery switch position required? Also thin I might send it in to be inspected. Anybody know a Guest service station? Hugh |
they are pretty bullet prooof from an operating standpoint. I charge mine with or without the batteries on. if you are docked overnighrt with the charger on you have to have the batteries on along with the batteries on. I also leave mine charging for a couple days at a time sometimes. like I say they aren't too delicate so don't worry yourself too much. oh and welcome.
