2008 cig 700sci dieing out

Hey guys Im trying to help a friend out that has a 2008 cig with twin 700sci engines ,the port engine will die when going through a no wake, starts right up and then runs fine,we switched the iac and didnt help.we checked the min idle setting and its fine, checked tps reading which was fine,no stored codes, last time it happened we could tell it was going to die because we felt the engine load up like it was flooding out, tryed accelerating in gear and had a hard time getting over 1800 rpms ,shut the engine off and restarted and then was fine,

thanks for any input guys

Check the coils...that same thing was happening to me when ideling then one day it completely shut down at speed as it caused the ECM to short out. All from 1 bad coil.

Also check your smartcraft and see if you're getting any error codes. After the ECM went bad the codes were EST-1/8 (electronic spark transfer)

Thanks for the reply,
how did you diagnose the bad coil, did you switch them with the good engine?

The tech used some type of meter to check them. Each cylinder has its own coil.
