Mike - not sure how yours is set up since it is an 86 and I haven't been in a pre-90's cafe in a few years, but my thoughts were that the sink in my boat just flows directly out of a thru-hull that is on the starboard side, but it is uphill from teh cooler drain i believe - that was why I was thinking to run it forward and tee it into the heads overboard line.

You can see the through hull on that second pic and compare it to the height of the one that comes out the bottom of the boat for the head....

Using the head discharge line is a possibility, but you would need to tee in between the thru-hull and discharge line valve and put a valve on it too. The discharge line is under displaced water pressure, so you will always have some water in the line, and if you don't add a valve, well let's say you'll have a surprise when you dump the head holding tank. :hitfan:

Yes - that was my exact thought process.....

Who knows if I'll ever get around to trying it, but I would love to use the cooler for something other than storage.....

Thanks for the assistance. I've ordered the white cooler for that "factory original equipment" look, but will also check out the wheeled version Nick uses. And it comes in teal to match the paint!
