THANKS PIER 57!!! I bought the boat from them with a flawless transaction three years ago and now they sent me a buyer that bought the boat when I wanted to sell it. What service!!!

Buyer had till yesterday to come up with the money. No funds so AM II is back on the market. I just had the drives, trannies, and engine oil and filters changed along with valve lash. Truly turn key low hour animal. Someone will get a trouble free boat. Pictures are current and all work has been documented through Mercury

ssorry pal....I thought it was sold....take my Fountain on trade???

BraceYourself 05-17-2011 07:28 PM

Thanks guys! Someone is going to get a great boat. Nothing is marginal and it just takes looking at the boat, going for a ride, and seeing the paperwork showing all the preventative maintenance i've done. I 100% stand behind what I say about the boat truly being turn key. Anyone know of a buyer send them my way please.

SS930 05-17-2011 07:38 PM

That's too bad.

Selling a go fast can be tough, selling one of that caliber can be real tough, especially in a tight economy! As I'm sure you know, for every 100 people that call on it, only 5 may be serious... and of those five, you're luck if 1 or 2 actually have the means to realistically pull the trigger! I guess it goes without saying, dont consider it sold until the money is in your possession and the boat is pulling out of your driveway!

Best of luck with the sale, it's one super sweet cig!!! Honestly, you might be better off taking a partial trade on a boat like this... it's a lot easier to move a $100k boat than it is a $300k boat...

That sucks Jeremy....I have a buddy I was talking to in Havasu that was kicking himself for not buying it....Guess this is his chance. I text him that it's back up for sale.

Here's a blast from the past for you. This photo is courtesy of FPC and was taken on their run to Duck Key several years ago. This was when I owned American Muscle 1 and Tony owned American Muscle 2. Not too often did you see 1 and 2 at the same spot. They tried to get 1, 2 and 3 (when Elway owned it) to the same events to get pictures but it never happened.

BraceYourself 05-19-2011 10:43 AM

Reduced again...

Contrary to any dealers beliefs the boat has no issues. Just so happens my cig is a smoking deal compared to what any other big V hull trying to be sold can be sold for.

BraceYourself 05-19-2011 11:34 AM

Reduced again!

It will be sold!

Compression and leak down were perfect on boat. Then a wire transfer later and the boat is gone. Problem is I'm already looking through the classifieds. Nothing this summer but will get something next summer.

Looking back...

The boat provided some incredible memories. Also, learned that this industry is full of people that given the chance will take advantage of their customers.
I think the fun ended at the point I had just spent 150k on a refresh and a trannie breaks and mercury doesn't back their warranty and then Bam Marine proceeds to send me two more trannies that broke on the hose. So another 20k later and problem is fixed by another transmission shop. Bam marine knew I'd pay whatever it took and they used that to get as much money out of me as they could.

Other then that, marine tech concept (jeff wilson) worked very hard for me and with a customer that wants everything done yesterday they did a fantastic job of servicing the boat and me.

Congrets on the sale.
