'87 Top Gun prop question
 

Just picked up a '87 Gun with 598s(about 725 per side)running speedmaster III.Three blade cleavers,16X28. I think the props are kinda small,no tabs and she comes right up. 45 mph at 3500 rpm. No top end numbers yet . Opinions? Pics as soon as I figure how to post 'em. Thanks,Bob

Sounds like it is on the low end. Four blade 17 1/2 x 29 would help your cruise speed a whole lot. I just might be able to help you out with some .........:drink:

17.5X29 is quite a jump,how many spline? If they'll fit I'll give 'em a try but it won't be 'till next year.Thanks Bob
