What are the speeds/differences of a 575sc boat compared to a 525 TS Top Gun?

525 has no blower

With the 525 efi engine you use 87 octane

525's are closed cooling (85-87 mph) N/A
575's are not closed cooling (89-91 mph) supercharged

Weighs about 9800lbs
My '02 Gun ran 91-93 with 575's. I have run both, and I prefer the 575 in that boat. The punch those motors have (ESP when running offshore) is what separates the characteristics of each package.
575 - easy to work on for avg guy
525 - full of electronics and difficult to work on.
