And of course now we'll have to count Gary (39Unlimited) as the newest #6 Top Gun member since he mated 700's to SSMVI's.

Still a "Top Gun" brother (even though, I do realize the original question was how many "38" Top Guns). And speaking of that, I think that blue one and Gary's are the only 39's with 6's I can think of.

Think again Cigarette aficionado. George Mayo's 39 with staggered 850's like David Cohen's old blue boat you posted. Then there's the 39 with 1075 that rolled and was attempted to be fixed (I believe). And this 39 with 1075's Custom Marine Sales sold.

Well, post em up. (knew you'd take the bait) I can't remember them all like you man. I have enough useless info rolling around this noggin already.

By the way, am I confusing the two yellow #6 boats? I thought the one I posted rolled as well or was it just the 1075 boat? Too much reakin' info.

I think the yellow on you posted, the 38, only spun or handle awful and is a Cobra boat. The yellow 39 with 1075 was owned by the guy in IL that traded it for the "Skaterette".

Every cig needs 6's or Konrads. Any cafes with 6's? I dont know who would but any out there? Tank where is your boat now? That was a hell of a deal. Nice pics also in the thread

Gotta ove the 6 drive but the new 8 and the NXT are pretty bad azz too.

I don't think any Cafe's were built with 6's. Matter of fact a buddy of mine was going to buy a set from Phil for his Cafe and was told it'd never been done. My old boats in Ft. Lauderdale. Sold it to Jason here on the boards. I think we were both happy with the purchase/sale. And now I get to come out to use it whenever I want with him! :drink: You know what they say, "the best boat to have is a friends boat"!:grinser010:

LOTO boat. It's nice.

Tank,

I didn't get a chance to see your old boat while I was in Ft. Lauderdale over the holidays. Jason is a really nice guy and we're catching up when I head back in March (talked with him a couple times while I was there). Work got too crazy so I had to fly back early.

Was there a thread on that when it happened? I don't remember that happening.

Yea, there was and people ID'd it as the boat Blume had just sold. But as I recall the yellow TS Dans talking about is easily confused with this one. Don't remember if it rolled or spun.

That's right. The one with 1075's that I believe rolled, was the one sold by Ocean Performance originally.

There have been a decent amount of 39's powered with 6's & bigger power, by comparison to when they came out & the amount of 38's.

The one you mentioned that Custom Marine sold, is a SWEEEEEET machine. I saw it back in May at CM, & it was spotless with what felt like 30 coats of wax.

Don't forget the blue Mercury 39 that has 6's, & has had 850's, 1075's, & various other big Merc engines.

The 1075 boat was not sold by Ocean Performance. I believe Grand Sports Center in IL did. Ocean sold two 39's with 850's and #6's. The Blue on at PPB now, and the one in NJ that I posted the video of.

Cool, thanks for clarifying.

Where is that boat? I don't recall seeing it at all since it was new?

Heard 1350's are next on the list. Interesting to see how it does. Those 1350's pull like nothing I've ever experienced. Insane torque!

That's all right, & I also had heard while I was at Cigarette that it was getting 1350's next. I cannot even imagine how fast that boat will be with those. It pulled really hard when I rode in it with 850's. http://smiliesftw.com/x/eek3.gif

It has had all kinds of different engines in it. If only it could talk!
