Absolutely stunning boat with top notch paint, interior, drives and motors (that frankly I'd love to own) but people looking at spending 175k just aren't looking at buying a 15 year old boat (unless you talk to the Apache guys:eek::eek::grinser010:).

Doesn't matter how much you dump into these things, they are only worth what a buyer will pay and if there's comparable but newer "better" boats in the same price range, the older boat aint gonna sell.

Yeah, I was just using it as an example, but someone did pay more than what people around here have thought that #6 boat's worth. I'm not saying I would pay $175k for it, or even $150k, but someone paid fairly close to that when it sold last, so it's worth more than the rest!

That whole "they're only worth what someone will pay" can be applied to anything in the world on some level by people that try to buy things for wholesale prices. It's really just an easy cop out for someone that likes to tell others what they're stuff is worth, after they've determined they can't afford to step up themselves.
