cafe racer wind deflector
 

Anybody put a plexi wind deflector on a cafe was thinking of trying to have one made and mount it on upper cowl area any pics would be great thnks

I asked about this when I bought mine as well, having come out of a Formula with a full windshield. I never found any for the Cafe. I called Phil at Lip-Ship and he said he has never done one either.

I have since gotten used to the breeze. :lolhit:

I hate the stock windshield on my cafe - those flip up ones seem to put all the wind RIGHT in my face!!! They work great for my wife because it blows the wind right over her head!!

What do u guys think I would guess it would look gd and be functional as well can't belive no one has done this before was thinking maybe 6-8in high I saw one on a sonic it looked gd any input would be great thnks

Sort of along the same lines I have three of them on my 36' Apache and wondered about having new ones made that are just a couple inches taller. As someone else said, they work great for my wife but seem to toss all of the air right in my face.

Sick Stinger here on the board was going to make one for his Cafe I am sure he will chime in here.

Hey frank sounds like u want to warm up the motors on the tiger let me know if u want some info built 540s simliar to want u want to do

That was from an old thread, before I decided to buy the Tiger I was looking into some more power. I will be taking the power out of the Tiger next winter for a little freshening. Those motors are the Keith Eickert 675's. They are 540's with 871 blowers and a set of Dart aluminum heads.

That sounds real nice that boat will haul

Anyone have any pic of wind deflectors they have made for a caferacer,want to put one on the upper cowl, don't know if that is possible in one piece,with a angle back compound angles to deal with
