Back in the day Cigarette floowed no one. Everyone was striving to be like them. Now they are trying to look like eveyone else. The Bling factor kills them for me. The racing heritage and basics were left behind in favor of chrome and circus colored paint and interior like Outerlimits, Nor-Tech, MTI, Fountain.
I understand that this is supposedly what the customers want but that is the deiiferance between boating today and 10-15 years ago. Back then guys bought Cigarette's because they were touch and masculine.

I know this will anger some, but don't paint AMG on the side of your boat. I have an AMG and it is one of the most awesome cars out there and I love the Cigarettes, but I don't need the taillights or steering wheel from my car in my boat. MTI is the king of this and the sad part is they make one of the best boats in the market. Don't cheapen the package with gimmicks. IMHO

I actually disagree. I think this is just what Cigarette needs to keep up the European market. Cigarette has been doing this forever Cigarette/Playboy, Cigarette/Faberge, Cigarette/Rolex back in the Don Aronow days.
It is very typical with all the high end brands to cross products: Breitling/Bentley, Porsche/Donzi, Ferrari/Aquariva.
The difference between Cigarette and say MTI is that Cigarette is doing collaborations not theme boats. Theme boats work in different ways and work particularly well in the cases of Speed Racer and other non-brand applications. Just my .02.
