Non merc power
Old dash design
Back bench seat headrests need cut down.
42X isn't a popular line, once someone moves from a 39 they usually go to a 46 if they are going big power. Tim said the 46 is their most efficient hull, but who knows.

STRAIGHTPRIORITY 06-23-2011 02:35 PM

all valid points.
what did your 46 cruise at? it had 1075's correct?

I've seen this boat first hand at the St Clair Riverfest. It's a stunning piece.

I like that tiger. Did the Tiger have handling issues with a #6 or am I thinking of another hull?

Isnt that amazing... A few years ago that would be the reason it sold quick.

I think that paint in beautiful - I love blues and grey's. That being said I could do without the deck paint.

TeamSaris 06-24-2011 08:57 AM

Was the rebuild Schedule on those motors

The owner pm'd me last night and i replied with some questions.
i think the boat looks amazing and would bet it performs pretty well also.
I did ask if the motors had been refreshed or if the 120 was on them also.
can someone tell me what the black things on the sides begind the seats are for.

STRAIGHTPRIORITY 06-24-2011 12:11 PM

I think the boat looks great. The black things I believe are david clark headset jacks. The motors would not scare me one bit. Sterling has a great name but just don't let anyone other then sterling do work to them. The 6's will be awesome. I'd dial the power back to 900's and they'll live and you'll hit 100 WOT

STRAIGHTPRIORITY 06-24-2011 12:32 PM

yes sterling are really great motors (if they do all the work)
i guess those would be jacks for the back seat?
next boat has to be a number 6 boat without question.
what would u dial back? boost?

offshoredrillin 06-24-2011 02:48 PM

I look at this boat at least twice a week, Vandy originally had it built and they took great care of it also, they traded it to Cumberland I think when they bought the 46. Nothing wrong with this boat at all, it is just the market. if I remeber correctly Craig told me its right about 112 or a little more and very comfy doing it.

dkwestern 06-24-2011 04:31 PM

I stored my boat next to it indoors a few years back, it looks really good and has always been fresh water. Looks good in person.

The boat looks like new in the pics.

+1 - I actually prefer that style of dash. The new "curvy" style just doesn't do it for me.

A friend is selling this boat and he's ready to deal on it, what does everyone think?

The price has been lowered from what other brokers had it listed for in the past. Also, the current listing is exclusive and pictures are recent. Feel free to contact Brett or myself to find out more info or to see the boat in-person;
