You have made an absolutely beautiful boat using some creativity that is rarely seen. Congratulations on your work! Have you taken it out yet to see how it performs? I am guessing that it will run in the mid 40MPH range with that motor. Here is my 1988 Donzi 23' with the same motor that runs 51MPH top speed. Bill

Thanks for posting my pictures. Thanks for the compliment, and I believe that you are right on as far as speed goes. I like your Donzi too. I have not had time to run it yet to confirm. The hull spent the last week 100 yds from a flooding stream in Evergreen, Colorado. It was in no danger as it turns out, but I could not get to it to move as the road was closed! I was lucky, but too many people in our beautiful state are suffering badly. The devastation is unbelievable in some areas.

Ah yes, my sister sent pics and video of the flooding in downtown Evergreen. I was looking forward to Visiting Cactus Jacks this weekend, looks like that is not a possibility. Hope everything is OK your way, I will be visiting Thurs-Mon this week. Cool boat, where do you take it?

SICK job! love the floors. i just dont understand why shorten it SO much, and not run twins or trips? i think it coulda been made a one of a kind CC with that canvas. but non the less EXCELLENT job!

Number one, I am in Colorado so no need for twin engines. The speed limit here is 40 mph on all waters in the state. It should do upper forties at sea level. 28' was selected since Cigarette did make a 28" although with a narrower beam, and 28' is still a long hull for inland waters. It actually is one of a kind! No one else is as crazy as I am. Thanks. Bob.
