Default GPS Replacement On A 2007 38TG

Has anyone replaced a Garmin 2106 / 2110 with a newer version 5008 or 5208 Garmin? Fit functionality? Any recommendations for an installer in New Jersey? Not looking for someone to chop up my dash.

i have done a 5208 in a 95 topgun and just put the 7 " version in my yamahe ar240. i forgot the model # of the 7 "
the touch screen and pre loaded charts are awesome.
I boat in NJ and FL. it is great not to have to worry about the charts.
I used an installed in toms river for the yamaha application
very easy to use, day or night

Talk to Arrow Marine (Formerly Typhoon) 732-477-6157. They are on Kettle Creek Road in Toms River. Chuck has been my mechanic there for over ten years. I am doing the same kind of upgrade to my Donzi Comp. this winter.

thanks for your replies. now to rephrase my question, my concern is how does it fit into a 2007 top gun dash? does it hang over the edges?

That is what i wanted to know. BTW did you do it or have someone else do it? is it just a plug and play or new wires have to be run?
