No one maintains a boat like this guy. It is in great shape and runs great. Been in it and rode in it many times.:coolcowboy:

I am not saying that he should sell it for $100K. What I am saying is how much a better value this boat is than say a $100k used up salt water rat that needs a full resto. That is the whole point of this thread.
I do aggree with you on the money saved from buying a project boat vs. buying a turn key that has been maintained with a open checkbook. I have missed a lot of hours on the water stepping over dollars to pick up pennies...:coolcowboy: |
What do people have to loose when making a $100k offer?? If your lucky, you might be the lucky guy after people have beat him down with lowballs, and your standing there with a check for $100k, he might say take the god damn thing and get out of here. That's how most people get a deal. Right place, right time, and people have had enough

You know you didnt get a good deal if they take your first offer.....

Beautiful fresh water Gun with 525's and ITS. Everyone is talking about buying a T/S gun for under $100K. All that will buy you is junk. How about something turn-key like this?

x2,,,i have no problem with the cover girl,,,interior,,,nice boat from the pics

i dont have a problem telling people to pound sand either, but after 100 low ballers, the guy standing there with a check looks more and more enticing haha

cheapest one always sells, so the people who spend the time and money to keep their stuff up to par are the ones taking it in rear when it comes time to sell.
Case in point. I had another boat (1983) years a go I bought for $@22K put $40K into it and sold it for $20K. I thought I could get at least $30K. :drink: |
I made an offer on the boat too. I wouldn't keep the colors like they are, that's why I lowballed.
