Beautiful fresh water Gun with 525's and ITS. Everyone is talking about buying a T/S gun for under $100K. All that will buy you is junk. How about something turn-key like this?

That boat WAS on our short list before we bought our PP. My wife wasn't big on the color combo, but I like it. She also wasn't a fan of the playboy cabin layout. I will say it looks to be extremely clean and very well cared for. Definitely shows pride in ownership. I have watched the price drop 50K. It's getting closer to the current market value, but IMHO it's not quite there yet.

Color combo is not my favorite but still tastefully done. If a tired, beat T/S Gun can be had for just under $100K (according to the experts), wouldn't a nice boat like this be worth this $$ all day long?

Yes and no. It isn't worth the extra $40k to get a prestine piece for somebody who works on their own boat because they can bring a rougher boat back up to shape for a lot less money than somebody who just drops it at the shop and says make it perfect. So, obviously for the guy who just drops the boat at the shop, yeah a perfect boat for a lot more money might make sense but for the guy who does his own work it doesn't make sense.

That's a buddy of mines boat. Very Very clean he will not sell it for 100k. He may discount a few grand from his asking price but that is all...i have been in the boat and think it's worth his asking price...Tom

I am not saying that he should sell it for $100K. What I am saying is how much a better value this boat is than say a $100k used up salt water rat that needs a full resto. That is the whole point of this thread.

The colors made all the difference for me........I kept looking at this boat on the site for a long time but couldn't bring myself to deal with the purple and teals.........although many boats with "dated" paint do look much better in person.....especially if they're very clean. I'm sure this is a nice piece.......looks well cared for. I would think it will sell to the right buyer for that price in time.

It does look like a very nice boat. But this boat has been for sale for a very long time. It all comes down to one thing, price.

Agree 100 percent with the above comment. In these economic times 90 percent of people who are looking for a boat are going to want the cheapest one of that make/model on the market. We are in the aircraft business and it is the same way. You try to explain to people about how nice of a top gun it is and their response is going to be "well I can go buy so and so's boat for 100 grand. Sad but its the truth, cheapest one always sells, so the people who spend the time and money to keep their stuff up to par are the ones taking it in rear when it comes time to sell.
