Just recieved the bad news that earlier this summer, the famous 28' Cig Jesse James sank at its home dock in Lake George, NY during a storm. The boat was pulled out and the motors were run and pickled. Will need new electronics, EFI and probably a few other things. It is still owned by one of the guys who made it famous racing back in the early 80's, however this is too much of an undertaking for him. If anybody is interested let me know and I will get you in contact with him.
Here are some pics of it. First pic is when it was new as "Wings." Second pic is from racing, thrid is a recent shot. again. Its a good project for someone who has the time. Its on a Mico trailer that had a lot of work done at Performance Trailer two years ago. Boat went down due to heavy rains and bilge pumps knocking battery down. I look at her everyday and think about restoring her myself. |
