turn props in or out
I am rigging a 38 top gun stepped hull with # 6 drives, should they turn in or out? how does the 39 turn in or out?

I just found out my props have been turning out since I bought my boat, go figure I never knew, lol. On a step bottom boat you want them to turn in, no gain in performance as far I have been told. My boat picked up 2 mph when they turned the props back in, but I believe straight bottom boats may be different?

Not true. Every bravo T/S Top gun/Tiger that came out of Cigarette is set up spinning out. It all depends on drive height, drives, props, bottom ect. I've run T/S Guns spinning in and out and out run a little better overall on a Bravo boat. A number 6 is a whole different ball game.
