Cool idea. Any idea what RPM they are runnin at? I always worry about them on way out, but never on the way back! Haha :food-smiley-009:
|
I was probably running them around 5K...the chips are at 5,800.
I really wanna get them on video out in the Pacific...getting some air...but I had the boat at the lake last weekend, and couldn't resist messing with the GoPros. It was REALLY flat and glassy...lol. |
Very cool.
Any idea what caused the light to dim at the 1:06 and 1:07 mark? Voltage drop of some sort? Maybe hit the tabs or drive trim at that point? |

It would be great to put a GoPro in the engine compartment during some rough water running to see how much everything flexes. One of the best FreezeFrame videos is of one of the boat's engine hatch flying off, and watching everything move in around in race conditions.

Definately gonna GoPro some rough water next summer...should be interesting with the boat launching and landing, etc. Maybe put one on the transom, too. |
