Just giving oso peeps a little head start, I tried for a year to talk him into selling it but of course with my luck after i buy a boat he now decides to sell. Phil hasn't listed it yet but will be soon..

2004 38 gun with 525's

thisistank 12-27-2011 08:31 PM

SUPER clean!!! The expression "maintained with an open checkbook" (By Phil and the crew at Lip-ship) fits perfectly.

Looks like the painter ran out of room with the Cigarette logo :grinser010: Nice looking boat!

He thought it was a 43.... :lolhit:

But yes, nice looking boat. Hope a link shows up here when its listed, have a buddy who has been looking for a clean TS Gun for a while.

BLee 12-28-2011 08:34 AM

I've always really liked that boat. It's one of my favorite TS Guns.

pm203 12-28-2011 02:27 PM

Looks like a nice boat. However, there is no way I could live with that Cig logo. I am sure Harold can fix it. Other than that I'm sure it will make someone real happy.

I've always like the paint scheme on the boat; It's different from the norm, tastefully done, great colors (again not seen so much) and although the Cig logo is different, the way it wraps around the transom is very cool and unique (IMHO).

Thing is extremely well maintianed...motor and drive hours are super low, interior and paint is near perfect...It's just a great boat and will most likely sell for a very good price.

Very similar to this 2006 Maximus . 900's and #6's for sale at Ocean Performance in CT.....

tim mccray 12-30-2011 03:17 PM

I just told Phil to get it listed yesterday. Should be on his site any time now. That and my friends Performance 40 will be pretty much the only boats left on his site, since it looks like he sold everything else.

That boat looks awesome! I acutally just saw this boat on TV last night. It was on one of those fake Repo shows where they always get in brawls and stuff. It was on this show operation repo. I am sure it was never actually repoed, or anything like that, and the boat looks great, just funny that it was on tv last night, and shows up here today. Good luck with the sale.

Yeah Repo is fake, the boat has also been it a few magazines. Including the next issue of Sportboat.

Sounds like he has couple people interested in it so i don't think it will be around long.

He's taking a break for a little while. He's owned the Ohio Steel Fountain, Tiger w/6's, Howards, and a few others. He hasn't been boatless in over 10 years, I'm sure he wont be boatless for too long. I'm guessing a 42X or 46 will be in his future....Maybe a Skater???:drink:

HUSTLEthis 01-11-2012 09:24 PM

Dan and I are going to make him our Boat Bi.... :party-smiley-004:

H20 Toie 01-13-2012 12:31 AM

Well I didn't think it would take long

Anyone here the one buying it?

tim mccray 01-13-2012 12:28 PM

First time being boatless for about 12 years.. It's all good though. I can be boat bit*h on Hot For Teacher Tom and Shannon's boat, or Dan's boat.. :) Will probably stick with Cigarette though. I've owned about 15 to 20 boats, all sorts of different brands and sizes, cat's and vee bottoms and to me, there's nothing quite like a Cigarette. It's the best built rough water boat out there. So I'll just wait for a nice 42', 46' or 50' to come through Phil's, and when I'm ready, I'll grab it. And yes, it will be from Phil. No one knows more about the boats than him, and as far as my experiences have been, it's the best service I've ever experienced. When he says you're part of the family, he means it and treats you that way. Can't count how many times he's gone way the hell out of his way for me.

Anyway, TANK.. Why do you keep pushing the Skater's? Is that what you want to ride bum a ride in next? :drink:

Hey man, I'll bum a ride on whatever I can get...However, it was always YOU talking about getting a Skater. But I figured you'd never walk away from a Cig. Plus, you'd lose that stellar service Phil offers! (you're welcome by the way!);)

I give you a year before you're into something new!

Now, hows that 50 looking? :drink::eek:

tim mccray 01-13-2012 02:12 PM

Keep that Skater stuff on the down and low.. A little soon for the 50' for me.. The Maximus is looking pretty good.. Have you seen that thing lately? Still looks new, pretty much is, almost no hours.. Killer boat especially for the price..

H20 Toie 01-13-2012 02:36 PM

Damn Tank now you and Tim are boatless, Good thing i went by Phils or we would all be BB with no boats.

In a couple weeks mine will be back out on the west coast so we will be able to run out to the islands in style.

pm203 01-13-2012 02:56 PM

Listed as "Pending" all ready.
