Come on, you put diamond plate on John Deer tractors not on an offshore boat.:lolhit:
Did you get those stellings?

Haha u know what i mean...the new boats have them they are painted to match the colour scheme i think it dresses the engine room up ...im not about to stuff some cheesy checker plate in my bilge....lol

I had some made for on of my boats. They didn't use the diamond plate but a regular smooth plate then sprayed with nonskid and painted. Came out real nice.

Im sure they will also help stop stuff from gathering in the bilge.....last oil change we found a dozen beer cans, few pair of sun glasses, and bikini tops etc...., :lolhit: think ill go for the smooth look and have them powder coated...

I would think you could order them thru Lip Ship or Cigarette?

I was thinking of adding some to my Comp. Found this:

I'm doing the smooth 1/8 inch plate under mine and doing and plate on the bulk head as well.

Why not use the "vinyl" Garage floor versions of diamond plate. Looks the same, less slippery, and more importantly not a problem if you happen to drop a hot battery cable on it (non conductive).

Comes in popular colors and they also have it in a silver metallic color, that at first glance is hard to believe it is not aluminum.

It is also easy to cut and you could cut out pieces to fit perfectly and remove them for cleaning if needed.

Just a thought.

You won't get them from Phil. i asked why my lipship boat didn't have them and he said that none of his boats do. They don't hold up well enough.
